Over 300 users sign up on SEM Forum
I have reached my August Goal of 200 signups on the SEM FORUM, and a was able to go over that number by over a hundred, up to 308 as of today and still have 22 days left in the year. I am current getting about 5-6 sign-ups a day. Woot.

SEM FORUM UPDATE August 2008
We are up to 85 users on the SEM FORUM… I know that is not a lot but Quality
Update the sites to Adbrite and maybe Yahoo ads. Moved the s513.com to a static page. Getting better traffic now. Send me other ad companies that you have made money with. Would like to have over 200 users by year end on the SEM FORUM. I can Dream can’t I.

Site change again of S513.com
The change of the site to a blog did not go well, adsense was down and just overall was not getting the traffic to forum either.
Back to the old site with modes
S513.com Site Update
I changed the Home of S513.com to a blog instead of static html pages. I wanted to give the home page more flexibility this way.
Buying Selling Websites and Domains
Over the last several weeks, I have fallen into the world of buying and selling websites and domains. This is an interesting world. When trying to sell a website the domain selling professionals tell you to take the income x 12 to get the selling price. That would be a good sale if your site is making $1100+ a month.
Now for the real buying and selling world of what the market will bear. When selling a site, if the maket likes what they see the biding and networking can go on for days until you site is purchased. Sometime almost like a frenzy. IF, the buyers do not like what they see, your Want to Sell goes totally ignored. I had to run the ad For Sale 3 times before I started getting any bids. Once the requesting for information came in, I just knew I would get multiple bids. Out of one batch I got one bid, It was enough money close to the asking price. I decided to accept the kind offer. Then I did not here back from them for over a week. Most stressing. Well after three weeks the responded back with a down payment offer and payments per week, I was good with that also. But never heard back.
Then I get a couple of low ball offers, at this point I just needed the money and said let it go to the highest low ball offer. I like the guy that I sold semcents to, so I am happy. A couple of links of those I meet along the way.

It seems like I am adding new sites everyday to the website. The more I add the more come in.
The Forum is up over 60+ plus users now SEM FORUM
Would like to double that number by the end of year.

With two major disasters in the world in Burma and China. Lets hope there will not be another for a long time. It is our duty as information providers, bloggers, to help in anyway we can with the world community.
Burma : Red Cross : Cyclone Death Toll Estimates Hit 128,000
On Wednesday, the U.N. raised its estimates on the number of people impacted by the cyclone. John Holmes, the head of humanitarian affairs at the U.N., said that between 1.6 million and 2.5 million were “severely affected” and in desperate need of relief, up from 1.5 million people, Reuters reported.

China Warns Quake Death Toll May Reach 50,000, Appeals for Rescue Equipment
China warned the death toll from this week’s earthquake could soar to 50,000, while the government issued a rare public appeal Thursday for rescue equipment as it struggled to cope with the disaster.
Please visit the Red Cross website and donate to them as these two countries struggle to regain some form of basic life for their people. Hopefully that we can make someones life a little better.
